All of your massage therapists have musculoskeletal therapy qualifications
With musculoskeletal therapy we can treat a huge range of injuries, aches and health conditions
After being assessed by our MST therapist we'll tailor a treatment specific for your condition and goals
What is Musculoskeletal Therapy (MST)?
Musculoskeletal therapy draws on different techniques such as Mobilisation, PNF stretching, muscle energy, hydrotherapy, cupping, taping and many more. To be able to practice MST your massage therapist needs to have an advance degree. At Mobilise Remedial Massage all of our therapists are MST qualified.
Unlike other massage treatments such as sports massage or remedial massage, musculoskeletal therapy specialises in assessing and treating different parts of the musculoskeletal system. By using different techniques such as joint mobilisation, trigger point therapy and dry needling, our therapists can provide a thorough treatment.
It is important to have a healthy musculoskeletal system because it looks after the form and support of the body. It allows us to move freely while at the same time providing protection to internal organs.
Before your treatment begins, your therapist will assess your posture, your body's overall movement and create a unique treatment based on the results.
All treatments are unique, and different MST techniques are used depending on the patient. Besides the musculoskeletal therapy techniques you might need a biochemical analysis to analyse your joints, nerves and muscles.
After your first appointment your therapist will design a home program to help you stretch and increase your recovery rate.
If you have any special needs, our practitioners will tailor a treatment to suit you and treat your specific illness or condition.
